Solar-powered battery-swapping stations

A battery-swapping station is a concept for a place where a vehicle’s depleted battery could be exchanged for a charged, compatible battery. Solar generation and energy storage could be considered as part of how a location prepares batteries for exchange.

The idea depends on practical questions such as vehicle and battery compatibility, site suitability, energy supply, maintenance, and how the station would operate.
